Draper Lab's film about Malaria research selected for Manchester Film Festival
The Malaria Challenge: A Participant's Experience Through a Malaria Challenge Study, a film produced in collaboration with Oxford Sparks, has been selected for screening at the Manchester Health Film Festival on 13–14 November.
The film follows a volunteer's journey through BIO-004, a malaria challenge study conducted by the Draper Lab research group in the Department of Paediatrics. It offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at what taking part in a malaria challenge study involves and the vital role volunteers play in advancing research into new malaria vaccines.
The Manchester Health Film Festival celebrates the power of film to explore health, medicine and scientific research, providing a fantastic opportunity to showcase Oxford's research to a wider audience.
