I am a Clinical Research Fellow within the Malaria Vaccine Programme, where my role is focused on designing, delivering, and executing clinical trials of malaria vaccines and controlled human malaria challenge studies in Oxford, and providing support and partner sites in Africa.
I completed my medical degree at Lagos State University College of Medicine, Lagos, Nigeria, before undertaking an MSc in Integrated Immunology at the University of Oxford. At Oxford, my MSc research focused on identifying cerebrospinal fluid cytokine signatures to distinguish cerebral malaria from bacterial meningitis in Malawian children.
My research interests include infectious diseases, vaccinology and immunology. My broader research experience spans central nervous system infections, CSF proteomics and randomised controlled trials, including ChEETAh, TALON and PENGUIN, focused on improving surgical outcomes in low- and middle-income countries.
